Work you'll do

As a core member of our team, you will work closely with our clients and our functional team to understand requirements, architect, develop and maintain a metadata repository, and conduct data testing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architect, design, and develop enterprise data warehouse components, including data marts, operational data stores, staging, and archival databases.
  • Building star schemas, Type I and Type II dimensions, facts to dimensions matrices, and work with large enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
  • Work directly with client/business owners to gather and develop architecture requirements
  • Support data warehouse concepts and relational databases.
  • Requirements analysis and testing for systems engineering, data validation, and development projects
  • Further develop technical skills through working groups and trainings

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing enterprise data warehouse components, including data marts, operational data stores, staging, and archival databases.
  • 5+ years of experience building star schemas, Type I and Type II dimensions, facts to dimensions matrices, and working with large enterprise data warehousing, reporting, and Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Top Secret security clearance or higher required
  • Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Ability to work on-site in Washington DC metro area

Preferred:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community
  • Keen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real world problem sets vital to national security.
  • Experience in understanding business intelligence systems ETL development, and warehouse/relational database concepts, including industry best practices.
  • Experience conducting demonstrations and briefings with clients to show incremental progress.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with emphasis on complex technical topics and effectively communicating details with all levels of management.
