Work you'll do

We are currently seeking a Junior eDiscovery Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work under the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and demonstrate a solid understanding of eDiscovery standards. The Junior eDiscovery Analyst will play a crucial role in technical eDiscovery for legal professionals and practitioners, with a focus on utilizing standardized eDiscovery software tools.

Responsibilities:

  • eDiscovery Process Management: Utilize standardized eDiscovery software tools such as Relativity, Clearwell, Concordance, or other enterprise tools.
  • Ensure complete and accurate project documentation is created and maintained.
  • Data Collection and Production: Identify, preserve, collect, and produce Electronically Stored Information (ESI) in response to discovery requests. Manage eDiscovery production and prepare data analysis reports and documentation.
  • Data Handling and Chain of Custody: Ensure proper data handling procedures and maintain a clear chain of custody. Assist with the eDiscovery process from ingestion to the production of eDiscovery materials, including data archiving.
  • Technical Expertise: Conduct complex Boolean searches and generate reports in an eDiscovery platform, currently Relativity. Process, ingest, integrate, and organize native files, loading data from digital media sources into an eDiscovery platform, currently Relativity.
  • Client Interaction and Deadline Management: Maintain daily client contact and thrive in high-pressure court deadline-driven environments.
  • Quality Control and Expert Witness Testimony: Identify and address data quality issues. Provide expert witness testimony as needed.
  • General Laboratory Functions: Perform other laboratory functions as assigned.

We aim to help our clients solve their most pressing data management challenges by bringing key stakeholders together and helping them to navigate challenges such as cloud migration, implications of new technologies, evolving data sources, and pressure due to time constraints or regulatory requirements. Our practice has established itself as a leader in delivering the full spectrum of Discovery services to government agencies. Our teams apply eDiscovery leading practices and leverage analytics technology, as well as traditional legal research and writing, to assist government attorneys and agency staff through the litigation or information request process.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role (Public Trust Clearance)
  • Travel up to 20%
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule. Will work a minimum of 3 days on client site per week.
  • 6+ months of eDiscovery experience
  • Experience with standardized eDiscovery software tools such as Relativity, Clearwell, Concordance, or other enterprise tools
  • Experience with Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Relativity experience highly preferred
  • Legal eDiscovery experience highly preferred
