Work you'll do

  • Collaborate directly with the client stakeholders and conduct requirement gathering sessions to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, translate requirements into project designs and utilize Human Centric Design Methodologies to design robust solutions.
  • Analyze and document current state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future state/to-be systems, processes and environments utilizing flow charts, process maps and performing gap analysis.
  • Establish Change Control Process, Incident Management, Risk Management, Problem Management, Communication Management, Scope Management and Resource Management processes, and reviewed them with the stakeholders during the Project Initiation Phase.
  • Utilize Project management methodologies, human centric design approach, project plan, JIRA and other tools to manage the design and development of project solutions
  • Supervise teams focused on design, development, testing, deployment and production support work streams of the engagements
  • Track and report on project status and milestones to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders utilizing Tableau, JIRA dashboards, and project Plan.
  • Manage the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks.

The GPS Human Services Transformation offering designs and implements large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies as well as higher education institutions. With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Program or Project Management support and/or leadership
  • Government Consulting Experience
  • Expertise must include all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle for designing, developing, testing and implementing complex integrated systems for enterprise-level clients
  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • PMP Certification or Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience with Incident Management and Risk Management
  • Stakeholder Management expertise
  • Experience conducting requirement gathering sessions
  • Ability to analyze current state systems, processes, and environments to support project design
  • Data Visualization expertise
  • Advanced level of knowledge around the Human-Centered Design approach to product development
