Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in Houston, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Drive Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the Insurance, Financial Services, Healthcare, State and Local Government, Telecommunications, and Retail industries. Improve the ability to react in the digital world and enable innovation and scalability, remove performance barriers, modernize core systems, and reimagine their business with Oracle-based solutions. Participate in setting Oracle engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams, and identify changes in scope. Leverage automation, cognitive, and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios, and prescribe actions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document. Support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM), Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to provide Oracle software advisory and implementation services for the Transportation or Industrial Manufacturing or Health Care industries;
  • Driving the development and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights, leveraging Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Oracle Integration Cloud Service;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment, utilizing Oracle Procurement, Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM), Oracle Account Payables, Oracle Order Management, Oracle Inventory Management, and Oracle Logistics modules;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions, using Oracle Unified Method (OUM), Oracle Procurement, Oracle SCM, Oracle Account Payables, Oracle Order Management, Oracle Inventory Management, and Oracle Logistics;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery, and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders through use of Microsoft (MS) Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans, and configuration documents by employing MS Project to communicate project tasks for implementation of Oracle Procurement, Oracle SCM, Oracle Account Payables, Oracle Order Management, Oracle Inventory Management, and Oracle Logistics projects;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state and to-be systems, processes, and environments by leveraging OUM, Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne; and
  • Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams, and finalizing system requirements, utilizing MS Visio.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
