Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Leader in Columbus, Ohio and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Oversee Oracle software advisory and implementation services for information technology projects to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Lead the overall project strategy for information technology projects by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant Oracle tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage service excellence for information technology projects by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Manage and lead the proposal development process and develop proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities. Manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes and promote Oracle knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of related work experience. Will accept a bachelor's equivalent based on any combination of education, experience or credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service. Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients;
  • Leading and managing large Oracle Acquire to Retire (A2R), Order to Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record to Report (R2R) implementations in Industrial Products and Construction industry;
  • Working closely with senior executives of client organizations in adopting industry-leading practices for Oracle Receivables, Credit Management, Payables, Payments, Tax Reporting, General Ledger (GL), and Advanced Global Intercompany System (AGIS) operations;
  • Leading business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Requests for Proposals, eminence, and point of view development;
  • Overseeing project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery, and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Oracle Unified Method (OUM), Agile methodology, Jira, and Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Quality Center; and
  • Managing, developing and mentoring staff, assessing engagement performance, and performing year-end reviews.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
