Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Executive in Detroit, Michigan and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Lead information technology projects to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments with a focus on delivering development and implementation services. Manage teams that may participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures within the full software development life cycle. Lead and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Lead day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Lead aspects of the proposal development process and develop proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities; manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 6 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 8 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 6 years of related work experience in each of the following

  • Utilizing Rally, Atlassian Jira, Microsoft (MS) Project Plan (MPP) and Excel, and Gantt chart to oversee information technology projects, including Transformational Development and Maintenance projects;
  • Organizing and leading pursuit teams, leading proposal development efforts, and contributing to the development of proposal-pricing strategies;
  • Leading global project teams and project delivery; tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing Rally, Jira, MS Excel, Teams, and SharePoint;
  • Executing client deliverables including Product Backlog, Product Updates, Estimations, Quality & Cost Metrics, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and developed Product, per business specifications and agreed timelines, utilizing Rally, Jira, GitHub, Eclipse, Micro Focus Extra, and Agile SAFe methodologies;
  • Developing practical solutions and methodologies, developing "thought-ware" and "point-of-view" documents, utilizing MS PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Teams, and participating in public speaking events;
  • Developing and executing networking strategies, sales tracking mechanisms, pitch presentations and document analysis, aimed at increasing client engagements using Salesforce, MS Dynamics, and LinkedIn;
  • Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices; and
  • Leading technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions utilizing Java, Angular, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), JUnit, and Tableau.
