Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll Do
Modernize business and core environments to leverage technology innovations across multiple platforms; drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise for continuous insights and improvements. Drive various aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, which may include requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Create architecturally significant non-functional requirements to design reusable data ingestion and data management components. Establish data ingestion patterns and design data integration interfaces with internal and external data sources. Drive advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data, to generate insights leveraging various platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Provide technical recommendations for optimized data access and retention from various data warehouses. Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models. Design and implement solutions to extract and reconcile data scattered across multiple sources. Utilize already built sophisticated software/tools to build Data Integration jobs, Data Conversion Jobs, and Data Warehousing Jobs. Perform key role in data end-to-end lifecycle by leveraging any ERP (Enterprise Resource Planner), CRM (Customer Resource Management), POS (Point of Sale) tools and any other software that an organization uses to create/generate data. Utilize Data Integration Jobs to integrate data from several systems and software's to other systems and software's with your own business rules. Use Data Conversion jobs to convert data from one system/software to another same kind of system/software with your own business rules. Maximize Data Warehousing as storage of years' worth of data of an organization with client specific business rules for analytics, which plays a key role in decision-making. Use Informatica PowerCenter tools for the following: Build Data Integration, Data Conversion and Data Warehousing Jobs, Data Validation Option (DVO) for PowerCenter; Validate and test Data Loads for several systems, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS); Build Data Conversion, Data Integration and Data Warehousing jobs for Modern cloud based platforms and on-Promise platforms, Complex Structured Query Language (SQL); Analyze data before the jobs are built and to validate the data, Procedural Language for SQL (PL/SQL); Build SQL based code to perform certain reusable tasks, Shell Scripting for Linux/Unix; Build scripts that handle flat files and handle logging, Erwin Data Modeler. o Build Logical and Physical Data models for Data Warehousing.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams, and identifying changes in scope;
- Utilizing Atlassian Jira, and Jenkins to coordinate and drive aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues;
- Delivering Data Warehousing and Analytics solutions utilizing Informatica PowerCenter, Erwin Data Modeler, Oracle Exadata Datawarehouse, Complex Structured Query Language (SQL) using Oracle SQL Developer, Procedural Language for SQL (PL/SQL) and Shell Scripting for Unix/Linux using Putty;
- Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Data Analytics and Data Integration solutions;
- Performing data analysis, including inspecting, cleansing, transforming and modeling for enabling data mining and resolving data mapping and data modeling issues using Informatica PowerCenter, Data Validation Option (DVO) for Informatica PowerCenter, Erwin Data Modeler, Complex Structured Query Language (SQL) using Oracle SQL Developer and Shell Scripting using Putty; and
- Developing, testing, and automating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures using Informatica PowerCenter, Data Validation Option (DVO) for PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Complex Structured Query Language (SQL), Procedural Language for SQL (PL/SQL), Shell Scripting using Putty to perform data warehousing and data integration functions.
