Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Gilbert, Arizona and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Modernize business and core environments to leverage technology innovations across multiple platforms; drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise for continuous insights and improvements. Drive various aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, which may include requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Create architecturally significant non-functional requirements to design reusable data ingestion and data management components. Establish data ingestion patterns and design data integration interfaces with internal and external data sources. Drive advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data, to generate insights leveraging various platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Provide technical recommendations for optimized data access and retention from various data warehouses. Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models. Design and implement solutions to extract and reconcile data scattered across multiple sources.

• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzing requirements, and translating client requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Informatica Product Suites, Unix, Linux, Database, and Cloud essentials;
• Functioning as integrator between business needs and technology solutions by performing assessments of existing information systems, identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and identifying root causes and resolutions to enable business process improvement;
• Estimating, scaling multi-node systems, creating prerequisite documentation, working with cloud, network, firewall, and storage teams to get the system set up for installing Informatica applications on cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architecture;
• Executing extract, transform, load (ETL) platform design, setup, upgrade, disaster recovery, auditing, capacity planning, incident and problem troubleshooting, and release management process;
• Performing Informatica implementation and administration of Big Data Management in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, Enterprise Data Catalog in AWS cloud, Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Analyst, Informatica Metadata Manager, Informatica AddressDoctor, Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Proactive Monitoring, Informatica PowerExchange Change Data Capture (CDC), and Informatica PowerCenter Data Validation Option (DVO);
• Utilizing Informatica Power Center, Master Data Management (MDM), and Informatic Data Quality (IDQ), as well as working with Axon and Enterprise Data Catalog to create custom build objects to maintain the Data Governance process, policies, and standards;
• Performing data management, including master data, metadata, data architecture, data quality, and data modeling;
• Delivering Data Warehousing and Analytics solutions, utilizing Informatica ETL using Informatica Bigdata Management (BDM) tool for unstructured and structured data sets;
• Establishing connectivity and completing integration on the Informatica platform with a variety of source and target systems, including IBM's DB2 & MQ, Amazon's RDS & S3, Apache's Hive & Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), Oracle, Teradata, Mongo DB, Salesforce, and Snowflake;
