Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Manager in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Lead advisory information technology project and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Lead the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise for continuous insights and improvements. Build out asset portfolio for clients and increase the immersion and integration of existing assets with clients; leverage insights to evaluate opportunities, shape strategy on where to focus efforts and create a demand forecast for Deloitte services. Understand and articulate compelling value propositions around product(s) and services to accelerate client sales and adoption appetite. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Manage information technology project service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead information technology project and aspects of the proposal development process and develop proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities; manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing a combination of leadership reporting including Microsoft's (MS) Excel and PowerPoint, project management with Agile and Jira, and using Power BI dashboards for data insights to oversee advisory and implementation services and generate insights to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments;
  • Leading teams that perform data management, including Master Data Management (MDM), metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling utilizing on-premises and AWS Cloud, Informatica, custom solutions, Ab Initio, Tableau, and Power BI;
  • Developing practical solutions and methodologies, developing "thought-ware" and "point-of-view" documents, and participating in public speaking events;
  • Organizing and leading pursuit teams, leading proposal development efforts, developing proposal-pricing strategies, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers;
  • Leading global project teams and project delivery, and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies, MS Project, Jira, and Confluence;
  • Overseeing the execution of client deliverables, including Data & Analytics Strategies, Analytics Business Cases, Solution Architecture, Data Requirements, and Validation Results per business specifications and agreed timelines;
  • Developing and executing networking strategies, sales tracking mechanisms, pitch presentations and document analysis, aimed at increasing client engagements using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; and
  • Performing the role of counselor and coach, actively participating in junior staff training and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
