Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Manage the creation of innovative and transformative technology solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Oversee effective visions, strategies and roadmaps in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within Financial Services Industries. Manage delivery of payments content experience across the payments processing, acquiring, and gateway sectors of the industry. Manage client advisory on debit, credit, ach, wire, check, prepaid, and emerging methods of business to business and business to consumer payments. Manage vendor assessment for content management of financial services companies by creating vendor selection framework, conducting demos, roadmapping, and pricing assessment. Manage engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Oversee proposal development and contribute to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Driving the creation of innovative and transformative solutions for clients within the Financial Services Industry utilizing thought-leadership on technology and business trends, reviewing leading publications, conducting data and insights based competitive peer-group benchmarking analysis and leveraging leading practices and solution considerations for strategic business and digital transformation using Microsoft (MS) Excel;
  • Participating in teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models, utilizing enterprise value model framework and industry reference architecture in combination with industry value chain analysis, and strategic choice cascade framework;
  • Participating in day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers;
  • Participating in the quality assurance (QA) for client's deliverables including development and design of customer journey maps, business and technology strategy blueprints and roadmaps, executive leadership read-outs, and business cases, per business specifications and agreed timelines;
  • Working across phases of the End-to-End business and digital transformation, and product rollout lifecycles, including strategy definition, operating model design, transformation roadmap development, transformation office stand-up and mobilization, product strategy and rollout planning, solution requirements gathering for product, and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Participating in project management frameworks including cost benefit analysis, portfolio prioritization frameworks, RAID (Risk, Action, Issue, and Decisions) logs, RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) matrix, and business case development and benefits realization models, to help clients optimize and maintain applications to maximize Return on Investment (ROI); and
  • Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights from analysis for purposes of developing solutions for client challenges, through peer benchmarking, cost/price analysis, service catalogue development, and industry data and reports.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $155,542.00 - $253,000.00.
