Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Jersey City, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Help support the development of innovative and transformative solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector Industry. Design enterprise, customer, and operating model strategies and advise clients on how to grow their business and achieve target cost structures. Support clients with capability gap analysis to achieve planned growth, define initiatives, and build transformation roadmaps. Work closely with the project team and pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotechnology clients on various consulting projects to understand therapeutic areas, disease states, and drug products as relevant to the project through primary and secondary research from key Life Sciences databases, including Evaluate Pharma, Biomed Tracker, and DRG. Support global implementation of strategy recommendations with respect to business processes, operating model and technology solutions for clients in pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotechnology. Help clients innovate and transform their current business models and customer experiences to create sustaining competitive advantage and leverage emerging digital and cognitive technologies. Assist clients in developing a shared services organization and improving back-office efficiencies by eliminating duplication and streamlining processes with a focus on stakeholder management via feasibility studies, global best practices and standards, industry benchmarks, and process scopes. Analyze industries to synthesize quantitative and qualitative financial market information, key players, and industry trends.

• Providing support in developing and documenting internal business services processes and metrics in a manner consistent with six sigma and lean methodologies utilizing Notion, Jira, Microsoft (MS) Word, and MS PowerPoint;
• Providing industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling to produce analysis and algorithms, utilizing R, Xquery, Java Evaluation & Parsing (JEP), and Microsoft (MS) Excel;
• Providing clients with scalable designs and technical solutions to generate actionable insights, streamline operations, aspire sustaining competitive advantage and identify cost levers for reduction and optimization through research and advanced data analyses, leveraging versatile real world healthcare databases including claims, Electronic health records (EHRs), surveys, and registries data;
• Capturing business requirements from clients through conversational support, 1-1 trainings and demos, providing high-level design guidance to development team, and supporting the analytical solution implementation;
• Working across all phases of internal testing for product and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level clients;
• Designing and developing reports and dashboards to measure performance metrics of clients' products, patient populations and outcomes, comparative effectiveness, resource use and costs, utilizing R and MS PowerPoint;
• Analyzing, categorizing and organizing business requirements and documenting functional requirements in Jira, MS Excel, and MS Word; and
• Advising on analytic and methodological considerations for clients' use of technical solutions, assisting clients in translating their business requirements into projects, and supporting clients to generate insights and strategies for achieving planned growth, defining initiatives, and building transformation roadmaps.
