Work you'll do
As a Product Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client's mission critical software products. You will be responsible for creating and managing product roadmaps, defining and communicating a clear product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring efficient product development and delivery in a Cloud environment. Your expertise in agile backlog management, user research, data-driven decision-making, risk and dependency management, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence team members and stakeholders through a compelling product vision and data are essential for driving our client's product optimization and growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision for our client's software products, aligning with user needs and business objectives.
- Create and manage product roadmaps that reflect both innovation and growth strategies.
- Partner with a government product owner and lead a product team of 7-8 FTEs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product development and delivery.
- Work closely with software development teams to ensure successful product releases in secure Government Cloud environments, primarily AWS.
- Monitor and track key product metrics to drive product optimization and growth.
- Utilize user research and feedback to refine product features and user experience.
- Proficiently manage backlogs, including Epic, Feature, and User Story development and refinement.
- Leverage tools such as Confluence and Jira to facilitate efficient product management.
- Manage risks and dependencies effectively in a software development context.
- Engage in stakeholder management and influence team members and stakeholders through a compelling product vision and data-driven insights.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience, and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Currently hold an active TS/SCI security clearance
- 3+ years' experience in agile software product delivery, preferably in a management position.
- 3+ years' experience with AWS in a product delivery capacity
- Expertise in backlog management, including Epic, Feature, User Story development, and refinement.
- Experience in client stakeholder management, preferably in software delivery role.
- Ability to be onsite 3 days at week at a client SCIF located in Washington D.C.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need
for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- 3+ years' experience with the Microsoft 365 Suite (M365)
- Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle.
- Strong track record of successfully managing and delivering valuable software products.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Knowledge of user research methodologies and the ability to derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data and metrics to make informed product decisions.
- Proficiency in additional project management and collaboration tools.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Expertise in risk and dependency management in a software development context.
- Cloud budgeting and forecasting experience.
