Work you'll do

The Cloud Migration Manager will be primarily responsible for utilizing technical skills to coordinate enhancements and deployment efforts and to provide insight and recommendations for implementing client solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale cloud migration projects, particularly within government and interagency environments. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, exceptional collaboration skills, and the ability to drive client adoption of new cloud features and security enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead cloud migration initiatives utilizing platforms such as GovCloud, commercial clouds, and interagency systems.
  • Foster enhanced collaboration among cloud vendors, DevOps teams, application owners, and agencies to ensure successful migration outcomes.
  • Take a central role in incorporating Azure and AWS capabilities into cloud solutions.
  • Enable clients to fully comprehend and capitalize on the advantages of cloud technology.
  • Drive client adoption of new features and security improvements by proactively resolving legacy issues, significantly enhancing performance and ensuring ongoing stability during transitions to AWS and Azure Government Cloud.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
  • 8+ years' experience in cloud migration projects, specifically within government and interagency environments.
  • Strong expertise in Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams, including cloud vendors, DevOps teams, application owners, and agencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address legacy system defects to enhance performance and stability.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of meeting stakeholder expectations and delivering solutions within compliance timelines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in user acceptance testing and providing comprehensive training to clients.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Experience with SaaS GovCloud offerings.
  • You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
