Azure Architect-Specialist Master
Our Cloud Engineering offering focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from on-premise or co-location to the Cloud. We help them see the transformational capabilities as an opportunity for business enablement by improving their agility and resilience, identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation resulting in competitive advantage. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software
Work you'll do
As part of our team, you will engage with Practitioners and Professionals from various disciplines within both our consulting practices and from our client's organizations. During engagements, exposure to multiple technologies will provide you opportunities to become an expert and to expand your skillset into new areas. Our practitioners lead/support technical teams to architect, build, and deploy cloud solutions across public, private and hybrid cloud environments. Our practitioners are expected to own and deliver their respective outcomes while managing different clients and other stakeholders.

- Design, implement, and manage solutions in Azure.
- Support client's Azure infrastructure, maintain health checks/monitoring, and report on KPIs/SLAs.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for Azure infrastructure issues. This includes Windows and Linux VM support.
- Provide on-call support for escalated client issues during US business hours.
- Develop SOPs to enhance support of the client's environment.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
- Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ Years Experience architecting solutions in Azure.
- Expertise in Azure services including compute, storage, networking, security, and IAM.
- 5+ Years Experience using IaC tooling such as Terraform or equivalent.
- 5+ Years Experience using monitoring tooling such as Datadog or equivalent.
- 5+ Years Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience leading and helping development teams build and deploy micro services-based applications in public cloud Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes
- You can demonstrate your ability to blend the skills of a customer-oriented consultant and customer facing manager with a hands-on technical expertise required to architect and manage a DevOps capability (6-8 years, experience modern software development, architecture and DevOps)
- Able to triage Cloud infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel up to 50% Nationwide
