Work you'll do

-Strong knowledge and experience in web application design and development

-Experience in architecting Microservices, API design, versioning, publish and Service integration

-Strong understand of Object Orients Principles, expertise is Java code standards, design patterns and best practices

-Expertise in Spring boot, Hibernate, JPA, REST, SOAP services and SOA

-Experience in database base design, application usage of relational and non-relational databases

(Preferably Oracle/Postgres/MySQL and MongoDB)

-Experience in using API Gateway such as Apigee/Amazon API Gateway, API security

-Strong working knowledge in AWS lambda or similar

-Strong working knowledge in AWS services such as SES, SNS, S3, Cloudwatch, Cloud Front

-Effectively communicate business requirements, criteria to stakeholders and development teams

-Able to make translate/ interpret business requirements to architectural and design decisions

-Experience in effort estimation for changes and enhancements

-Able to provide architecture solutions for the complex business requirements

-Collaborate with project teams to align with the project scope and direction

-Decide on the platforms and coding standards to be used in project development

-Has strong technical skills and experience in distributed software systems

-Has strong leadership skills ability to lead teams, guide/coach team members

-Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, methods, and best practices

-10+ years of experience in the software development

The Application Modernization and Innovation offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of professional development, application design, and/or architecture related experience
  • Proficient with Java, Microservices/ReactJS, API Gateway and RDBMS/NoSQL or related technologies
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Travel up to 30%
