Position Title: Technical Lead, People Insights and Analytics

General Purpose of the Job: This teammate is an integral partner in enabling partners through technology, managing data and reporting, and developing new analytics for all things people-related within the enterprise. You support all field and corporate functions by owning people-related technology and being responsible for efficient reporting processes. This position reports into DaVita's People (Human Resources or HR) Insights & Analytics team, which is responsible for compiling complex data sets, producing ongoing regular reporting, generating insight, and helping draw conclusions and recommendations about DaVita's business using DaVita's people data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

Technology
  • Develop deep understanding of HR (People Services) analytics technology investments, both back-end data flows out of HRIS system (Workday) and user experience
  • Heavy interaction with peers and stakeholders (internal and external to DaVita)
  • Ability to prioritize multiple asks and understand which business problems are most important for us to help solve
Systems Administration: Primarily for a people analytics software platform and teammate experience platform, both with 1000+ active users across multiple user profiles
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity across multiple systems
  • Ongoing management of user access and associated updates (e.g., routine addition and removal of users aligned to job profile changes, updates to profiles for groupings of users)
  • Continuous oversight ensuring data processes (transformations, calculations, etc.) run as efficiently as possible
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on back-end people data structure (e.g., Workday report writing and calculated fields)
  • Create and maintain self-service reporting model across our platforms
  • Help report owners scope out needs and develop solutions to meet these needs
  • Drive towards automation and self-service
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Expert-level computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; SQL, R, Tableau and equivalent database and analytics tools preferred
  • Strong understanding of systems administration and access management
  • Knowledge of Workday report writing (incl. advanced reporting writing and calculated fields)
