Talent Acquisition Manager

This position oversees and maintains the Welcome Wagon new hire process, and is responsible for managing all teammates assigned to that team. Position will work closely with other managers and administrators to help maintain and ensure compliance with DaVita's Background, Drug Screen, I-9 policies and procedures and ensure compliance with governmental reporting requirements including but not limited to the Office of Inspector General (OIG), the General Services Administration (GSA), and the U.S. Department of Labor.

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.
  • Oversees and maintains the Welcome Wagon new hire process.
  • Tracks problems with the current process and develops solutions to deal with those problems as they occur.
  • Maintains data regarding compliance with DaVita's new hire policies and provides progress and field data reports compiled from the team's contacts with new hires and the hiring managers by way of call tracking. Helps decide what needs to be measured and how.
  • Guides the expansion of the new Welcome Wagon processes incrementally to benefit the entire organization
  • Immediate supervisor for all teammates assigned to the Welcome Wagon team.
  • Assures that all teammates on the Welcome Wagon team are working as efficiently as available resources will allow.
  • Provide feedback to higher management when additional resources are necessary.
  • Coach and mentor to all teammates on the Welcome Wagon team.
  • Familiarized with all processes and procedures used in the on-boarding process by the Welcome Wagon team and be a go to person for questions and problems as needed by the team. Available for On-Call Support.
  • Provides creative input and assists in developing improvements to the current new hire processes with an aim toward continuous improvement.
  • Assures that DaVita's on-boarding process runs as efficiently as possible to provide each new teammate with a positive experience with DaVita in getting them on-board as smoothly as possible.
  • Works to improve guidance offered to the candidates to make the process of providing their data to HireRight as error free as possible in order to decrease need for adjudication of background results due to errors or missing information and coordinate with outside vendors like HireRight and eScreen as needed.
  • Improve enforcement of and compliance with company hiring policies over all.
  • Provides updates to Teammate and Labor Relations Manager as needed or on request.
  • Reports on problems with process and changes needed to the new hire process.
  • Provides reports on resource requirements and process change implementation plans.
  • Provides periodic reports on the number of new hires on-boarded successfully and average time to get a candidate through the hiring process for certain time periods and for regions and divisions of the company as needed.
  • Tracks and reports any compliance and enforcement issues and helps develop and maintain enforcement procedures to ensure full compliance with company hiring policies.
  • Responsible for providing WebEx and other training materials concerning the Welcome Wagon on-boarding process to the hiring managers as needed.
  • Performs special projects and assignments as needed.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience in managing onboarding processes and projects
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability strategically review processes.
  • HR/Onboarding project management experience preferred.
