The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior to assist leadership in state and local income and business tax compliance and assist with various tax projects to ensure department goals and objectives are achieved, in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core Values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and/or review state corporate income/franchise and business tax returns.
- Assist leadership with examination issues, including research and formulation of responses.
- Correspond with taxing jurisdictions to resolve disputes including filing issues.
- Assist with implementing processes and documentation that will ensure proper compliance with taxing authorities.
- Assist with reconciliation of income tax accounts
- Assist in preparation of quarterly estimated tax payment calculations.
- Assist with special tax projects.
- Interact with other departments and third parties to explain and resolve complex tax issues.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, with emphasis in Accounting; or, equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
- Public accounting experience and/or CPA preferred.
- Corporate income tax experience (2+ years).
- Tax research skills.

Salary/ Wage Range
$78,000.00 - $104,000.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
