Release Manager (IT)
The Release Manager role operates in a highly matrix environment and requires strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to influence team members to accomplish desired release objectives. Requires advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to assess problem situations and provide solutions promptly to lessen impact to the affected environment. Ability to multi-task is critical as you work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring software releases are successful and risk is minimized. Lead and coordinate the implementation activities, including the execution of the deployment plans, environment management, and Major software transitions as Release Management supports all activities from Dev to Production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate infrastructure modernization through DevOps and CI/CD tool chain adoption and implementation
- Work with development teams and ensure entry criteria is met before accepting the changes or requests.
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different factories/teams.
- Communicate release plan, deployment, and post-implementation status with stakeholders.
- Own and continually improve the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve process or automation.
- Lead and coordinate the Go-Live activities, including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
- Work closely with development staff to resolve build problems and merge conflicts.
- Experience with Change Advisory Board processes and governance
- Experience supporting a "High Touch" customer with real-time needs and requirements.
- Experience working in cross-functional or cross-organizational teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology of product delivery.
- Experience with Agile collaboration and task management tools (Jira).
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas, problem/solution/business value descriptions that can be understood by a broad audience in a time sensitive environment
- Experience with issue resolution processes for application production problems
- Prioritizing and managing implementation of enhancements/changes to multiple applications
- Experience with DevOps model and tools
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in Release Management.
