GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Program Manager is responsible and accountable for delivery activities for multi-million dollar digital programs of work within DaVita. The role is responsible for planning and scheduling program activities and milestones, defining resourcing capability and levels, overseeing program/project budgets, risk and issue management, and providing communications for multiple levels of the organization, including Executive Leadership.
The Program Manager is responsible for development, planning, and execution of highly complex technical programs consisting of multiple sub-projects and high program budget. The roles assumes responsibility for all aspects of successfully delivering the agreed scope of work and driving projects to completion, and is expected to possess both technical and business acumen.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Program management and oversight:
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned product/project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate cross-project initiatives
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Work with other leaders to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
Co Leadership in Design Workshops
Co Leadership in defining Cross Village Initiative Tools and Playbooks
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
8-10 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree
Experience using Microsoft suite of tools
Experience using PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tools
Experience leading cross-functional, matrixed project teams
Ability to build strong relationships across multiple lines of business
Experience in Agile Digital Product Creation and Delivery- preferably in Healthcare
Preferred
8+ years of project and program management experience
Familiarity with Product and Portfolio Management tools like Apptio, Product Board, etc
Project Management Professional Accreditation
TRAVEL AND TIME REQUIREMENTS
Travel: Variable but usually minimal (determined by project needs to be in a specific location for successful delivery). Likely at least 1 a quarter, potentially higher for cross collaboration events.
Nights/Weekends: Variable but usually very minimal (determined by project needs for go-live outside of core business hours)
