DaVita is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant (Patient Care Tech/Administrative duties) for our Home Program office in Hicksville, NY!
Dialysis Certification (CCHT) is required for this role!

Some details about this position:
- Hemodialysis and/or Peritoneal Dialysis experience required
- Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic
- Potential to float to various clinics in Nassau/LI during and after your training
- Flexible Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule. No Weekends!
- Direct Patient Care. Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment. Taking vitals, phlebotomy.
- Our PCTs care for multiple patients.
- Administrative and Office Management tasks including but not limited to charting, scheduling assisting in audits and following up with patients, coworkers and providers via phone/email.

- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
- Comfortable with Administrative/Organizational/Office Tasks
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes! Our work ends when it's safe for our patients.
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
- Health care experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Phlebotomy certification highly preferred
- Dialysis certification (CCHT) REQUIRED

Salary/ Wage Range
$24.00 - $37.00 / hour
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
