This position provides legal work in support of DaVita's Hospital Services Group and Patient Pathways program, including but not limited to drafting and finalization of acute dialysis services and/or discharge planning services agreements and amendments. This position will also assist in overall contract lifecycle management, special projects as needed, and handle client program requests and inquiries.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.
- Serve as paralegal for DaVita's Hospital Services Group and Patient Pathways, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements and amendments with external parties.
- Upon request, review current agreements and respond to inquiries from legal, compliance, or operations teammates.
- Maintain system to track agreements in all stages of negotiation and execution and send all executed agreements to the appropriate central filing system.
- Daily communication and interaction with legal and operations teammates, compliance department, accounts receivable, and clinical teammates relating to ongoing contracting matters and program issues.

- Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed; and
- Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures.
- Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Four years of experience as a Paralegal.
- Previous experience drafting and negotiating contracts required.
- Proficiency in MS 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams required.
- Certificate in Paralegal Studies preferred.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
