DaVita is seeking an experienced box truck driver who is looking to be part of giving life to patients. You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. Some details about this position:

• 40/week
• Drive truck, load and unload, pack inventory, count inventory, from warehouse to hospitals we support in Baltimore, MD
• Each of our 10 hospitals has scheduled inventory day and each hospital gets deliveries twice a week.
• Must be very familiar with driving 20 foot box trucks with air controlled breaks
• DOT required, CDL required
• Medical exam once a year for DOT certification
• Lift gate - can move 2800 pounds
• Must be able to lift 60lbs at a time as this is a very manual labor heavy position
• You will use a power jack when arriving to hospitals, technique is very important as you will be moving through elevator doors, small hallways etc.
• Experience managing small team is preferred.
• Good communication skills as you will bein charge of the warehouse inventory and deliveries to our hospital teams
• Must have great time management skills: will need to gauge traffic and timing to make sure deliveries are on time

Other Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License with no restrictions
• DOT Certified
• Commercial Driver's License with no restrictions
• Extreme knowledge of driving box trucks and the mechanics of the box trucks
• Must be able to lift 60lbs at a time
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
