The Director, Clinical Programs, will be a part of the Practice Engagement team on Clinical Transformation within DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC). Clinical Transformation is a headquarters team that leads DaVita in the transformation of kidney care to value based care, reducing overall cost to the healthcare system. Being the Partner of Choice to nephrologist practices allows our care teams to improve the clinical outcomes for our patients and grow this line of business. The Practice Engagement team seeks to strengthen these practice partnerships.
This Director will drive the strategy, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of innovative initiatives to improve Partner of Choice and associated clinical outcomes - scope may include but is not limited to the following initial focus areas:

The Practice Engagement team is highly visible and works cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organization, including field operators, clinical, financial, IT, and compliance. The team is made up of highly motivated individuals with consulting, process engineering, change management, and clinical experience.
Responsibilities of Director Include, But Not Limited To:
- Drives Scope of Work & Gets Right Stuff Done: Shapes direction of scope and takes complete responsibility for work, including all planning, execution, and delivery. Balances strategy with execution on tough problems. Drives multiple lanes of work forward simultaneously while identifying and solving for potential risks that may hinder timely project execution. Comfort with ambiguity and navigating resistance. Ideally, experience launching pilots and deploying initiatives more broadly
- Strategic Thinking: Sets strategic direction and goals for scope. Proactively removes obstacles to ensure success. Connects team's work to broader DaVita priorities
- Team Leadership: Leads team of managers and analysts - including attracting, developing, and retaining teammates while advancing scope. Balances team empowerment with accountability for detail. Seeks and provides effective mentoring and coaching. Identifies and constructively addresses TM challenges. Owns culture of their team and ensures a culture of belonging
- Influence & Communication: Communicates in a compelling way that drives support and commitment from others. Readily commands a room by building consensus and engagement. Manages tough conversations effectively, diffusing volatile situations. Influences executive leadership and other direct/indirect stakeholders. Exhibits strong storytelling ability and audience-focused influence, including appropriate use of PowerPoint
- Travel: Up to 25% as needed
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's strongly preferred
- 7+ years work experience in strategy, project management, or operational improvement experience within a consulting or corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience in each key area of responsibility outlined above
- Demonstrated experience and/or interest in healthcare delivery, value-based care, patient experience, or physician experience
- Strong preference for Denver-based candidates (office-oriented hybrid role, with two days required in-person per week)

$110,100.00 - $161,700.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
