DaVita is looking for a Certified Dialysis Tech with Experience working in Dialysis to serve our patients out of our Columbus West Dialysis location.

Looking for an Experienced and Certified Dialysis Technician for PD Dialysis, this will include AA responsibilities as well!

Some details about this position:

  • Dialysis Experienced & Certified
  • Expected schedule hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm
  • You will cover 6 clinics as needed and will be paid mileage between locations - assisting the home program nurses with lab draws, vitals, scheduling appointments, EQRS, filing & other AA duties (Canal Winchester, Columbus, Columbus West, Heart of New Albany, Meadowhawk, Park Side)
  • Must have In Center Dialysis experience and be willing to take on AA duties as well

  • Must be experienced and certified as a Dialysis Technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to float/travel to multiple clinic locations
  • Must have amazing time management and ability to adapt and change their tasks as needed throughout the day with prioritization
  • Dialysis experience required including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT).
What you can expect:
  • Physical requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 5 pounds to a maximum of 50 pounds unassisted; able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and use full range of body motions • Ability to interact in person and by phone clearly and efficiently • Ability to use computer and all peripherals as needed to meet goals I have read and understand the duties and expectations of this position
  • Continuous Improvement: We are consistently looking for ways to improve processes for our patients and teammates as we aim to build the greatest health care community the world has ever seen.
  • Building long-term relationships with your patients who are suffering from end stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times/week. You will also be responsible for educating patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics.
