Be the "face" of one of our outpatient or hospital facilities-and use your administrative skills to impact the lives of our patients and their families. In this support role you will ensure the timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices and purchase orders. You also will assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Filing, typing, and other clerical duties along with assisting other teammates as directed by The Facility Administrator and other management teammates
- Answers phones, screen calls, take and deliver messages and place calls as directed or necessary
- Arranges patient transportation as needed and assists with physician appointments for patient
- Maintains accurate accounting of all stock items kept in the facility to include dialysis, reuse, and office supplies (may work in conjunction with inventory technician)
- Maintains supply of patient and teammate forms
- Proactively monitors and provides information for ordering supplies
- Completes weekly purchase order and submit to FA or other designated manager to authorize purchases
- Assists in preparing monthly inventory supplies
- Receives shipments, researches back-ordered items, distributes purchase order as required and completes the order process
- Amends and corrects billing/credit problems and retains copy of all incoming invoices
- A facility may be selected to participate in research study(ies) under the guidance of DaVita Clinical
- Research. Any clinical or administrative duty required by the study protocol, which is provided during the course of a patient's treatment, is considered an essential duty of the job

- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical secretary experience a plus
- Demonstrated abilities in basic clerical skills, filing (numeric and alpha) and all office machines
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office products and Outlook)
- Knowledge of purchasing and inventory control methodologies preferred

We seek a personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office). You must type 60 WPM and have a high school diploma or GED. Medical secretary or secretarial certification is preferred-as is at least 1 year in a related administrative position in a medical setting.
