The West Regional Lead Director of Inventory Quality & Control (IQ & C) is responsible for managing Inventory Control, Inventory Data Management, Asset Protection policies and programs, inventory accuracy, Cycle Counts, inventory variance investigation, and Identify root causes for a Region of the Distribution Network. This position executes, standardizes, and implements processes and procedures to maximize operational efficiencies in collaboration with leadership, Distribution Operations, Corporate Compliance, Corporate Asset Protection, Security, Finances and COE's. The Regional Lead Director of IQC Operations also ensures internal audit and quality assurance standards, recommends improvements, and standardizes distribution network processes to prevent inventory loss and increase productivity. All duties are to be performed in accordance with CVS Health policies, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities include:
Implement the Regional strategy, run daily operations and performance of the IQC teams nationally, across all Distribution Centers. Collaborate with the process improvement COE team to ensure a smooth, compliant, efficient and cost-effective operation that is consistent with the strategy and vision of the Distribution Network.
Manage and lead managers and hourly colleagues for the maintenance & support of high levels of accuracy in all value streams (receiving, shipping, etc.) of internal distribution processes and order quality to our CVS Stores and external customers.
Collaborate with Distribution Operations [leaders] & Opex Organization to standardize policies and procedures, ensure inventory digital and physical accuracy, development of strategies, monitoring KPI's, and continuous improvement ideas to drive efficient flow (slotting, golden zone, etc.) and achieve DC goals.
The execution of these accountabilities is how the role ensures safety & protection of our assets through others.
Description
Lead the region of the IQC organization that aligns with the deliverables of the distribution, stores and customers quality and compliance requirements.
Manage, coordinate and root cause (in conjunction with DC Management) control activities relating to asset protection, security and Rx & Merchandise Accuracy, Compliance, and Investigations. The execution of these accountabilities is how the role ensures safety & protection of our assets through policy, compliance, & controls.
Responsible for Accuracy of Regional DC network of facilities, inventory, and programs like Pick Accuracy, Cycle Count Income, RX wall to wall and root cause and Inventory Control Audits. Responsible for Compliance of the Regional Distribution network and Health Assessment program, Yard Audits Program, RX Compliance Scorecard Reconciliation and Virtual Locations Management.
Key partners - Distribution Center Director+; Operational Excellence Director+; Corporate Compliance SC&L, Enterprise Asset Protection team & leader(s), Corporate Security, Finance Leadership and other key COE's.
This role will require 45-55% travel.Qualifications: 8+ years related work experience with:
• 8+ years' experience leading a team
• Strong analytical, Problem Solving, Lean and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively influence DC Directors for the region
• 5 + years' experience with Inventory Management and Inventory Compliance
• OSHA, DEA, FDA, DOT (Preferred)
Materials Management, Inventory Control, and Order Fulfillment: Knowledge and ability to apply standard materials management concepts, practices, and procedures (including RX regulations). Subject matter expertise in warehouse management systems and modern ERP systems, including demand planning, is preferred. Supply chain / Distribution Operations certifications (i.e. APICS CLTD, Problem Solving, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)
Reporting: Ability to read, interpret, write, develop, implement, and deliver management reports, operational materials, and presentations. Speak and present effectively both within executive levels and front-line team members.
Problem Solving: Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail combined with subject matter experience and expertise is required to navigate the needs within these functional areas. The ability to manage complex problems to assure operations while minimizing risk to CVS Health are critical problem-solving attributes to be successful in this role.
Decision Making: Ability to operate and manage successfully in areas with ambiguity is critical. Success is measured by the organization's ability to provide the highest quality of services while meeting Service Level, improving metrics, adapting new proven technologies to increase efficiency, with reduced turnover and improved employee engagement. Other measures relate to meeting financial and budget targets. The leader in this role actively contributes to the overall success of the Distribution Network and customer satisfaction.
Personal Interactions: Frequent informal and formal interactions will be required with multiple levels from front-line team members to senior management. Ability to influence stakeholders to prioritize and drive improvements while laying out the benefits and risks in a thoughtful and analytical manner to help influence decision making.
Interpersonal Skills: As a seasoned practitioner in this area, this individual operates with a strong authentic presence to lead complex and time sensitive initiatives. Important qualities include emotional intelligence, creative thinking, ability to inspire others, and listening skills to represent CVS Health in a professional manner to advance initiatives.

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
