As a Pharmacy Warehouse Technician - you will be working with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies within the clean room environment. The Pharmacy Warehouse Technician is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. The Pharmacy Warehouse Technician position is responsible for utilizing their clinical and IV/TPN knowledge alongside the pharmacist to provide specialty infusion services that will be delivered/ administered to patients in their homes.
As part of the Coram warehouse team you will utilize your clinical knowledge and provide our patients with the smooth service and delivery of their medication to their homes. Make a difference by bringing your personal touch and clinical experiences that will support our patient's one on one care.

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Warehouse Technician -

Ensures proper rotation and maintenance of inventory.

Coordinates time schedules and distributing routes evenly, with pharmacy, nursing, and patient.

Assigns additional routes as patient and referral requests are received.

Backs up purchasing representative, dispatch coordination, and asset tracking. Performs general housekeeping duties in the warehouse and delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local and Joint Commission requirements.

Gathers supplies/equipment for patient orders in preparation for shipment/delivery.

Coordinates equipment tracking procedures.

Assists with inventory control, including purchasing, receiving, stocking, and recordkeeping.

Documents supplies on Patient Delivery Record.

Maintains delivery log of activites per policy and procedure.

Retrieves and returns supplies and equipment, upon discharge from patient service.

Cleans and processes returned equipment and supplies in accordance with polices and procedures.

Participates in performance improvement activities as directed.

Assists in training and orientation of new employees.

Assists less experienced warehouse reps.

Receives all incoming shipments and disseminates to appropriate person. Audits and monitors delivery productivity levels as developed by management staff.

Handles all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Maintains communication with delivery employees regarding equipment orders and patient problems.

Transports and delivers medication supplies and equipment to patients in a safe and secure manner to prevent damange, spoilage, or loss of such items. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Active state Pharmacy Technician license required as outlined by state guidelines
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience

Preferred Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred

Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$16.00 - $28.84

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
