Work hours Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm starting at $16/hr.

QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):
  • Ability to read and write accurately.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to get license for scrubber.
Must successfully pass a D.E.A. background check as require

Required Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, pull, climbing, bend, reach, and stoop for an extended period of time.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required, to include shift rotation.
• Ability to work safely in and around machinery.
• Must be able to lift frequently 20-45 lbs., occasionally 45-75 lbs.
• Proven ability to be a team player who is comfortable working in a team-based environment.
• Ability to work with different levels of colleagues with focus on customer service.
• Ability to act competently in emergencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
  • Perform housekeeping responsibilities to include sweeping (which may include using a powered sweeper/scrubber), emptying trash, and general cleaning / deep cleaning, deep cleaning under pick racks, etc.
  • Learn battery MTC changer to assist with battery changes as needed / when asked.
  • Get licensed to operate PE (Power Jack) to be able to handle housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor / lead.
  • Shovel / Salt when needed (Walkways and other areas)
  • Required to cross-train into other related warehouse functions as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Work overtime as needed or when asked (Even on short notice)
  • Helps techs out when needed on repairs, at times they might need help on fixing conveyor or other related equipment.
  • Help with conveyor jams.
  • Handle absolute water deliveries and getting water jugs out to the flows and other areas in the Whse.
  • Cleaning outside as need on dock wells and other parts of the building.
  • Painting at times when asked.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Physical demands:
    • Frequently lift 20 to 45 pounds.
    • Occasionally lift 45 to 75-100 pounds.
    • Occasional bending, reaching and stooping.
    • Frequent walking, standing, pulling and climbing.
    • Going up and down stairs as needed
  • Work environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes.
Preferred Qualifications

Custodian Experience
Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $16.00 - $26.21

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
