The VP, Human Resources - Supply Chain & Logistics and Mail Pharmacy Operations will be responsible for partnering with SVP leadership across our Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness business to develop and execute the people strategy for corporate and field-based colleagues. This role will support over 15,000 colleagues across the country across multiple large facilities and various business units.

Major Responsibilities

• Leading a team of Human Resources Business Partners who develop and execute people strategies that address the current and future direction of the business.

• Partnering with corporate and operations leaders to develop and execute both long- and short-term business plans, providing input to shape the business and HR strategy.

• Acting as a thought partner, challenging current thinking and modeling creative problem solving to impact business decisions; Studying industry trends and designing business solutions to address short- and long-term trends.

• Utilizing trend reporting and data, making business recommendations that solve for root cause issues and addressing short- and long-term business solutions; sponsoring new ideas/solutions; taking initiative to improve results

• Integrating relevant data and information (for example, labor statistics, seasonal data, unique market characteristics, local labor supply, organizational planning), and apply the findings to positively impact the supply chain HR strategy; Utilizing data, identify the HR levers that will improve the impact of organizational capability on business outcomes.

• Driving talent development strategies to ensure a strong pipeline of enterprise talent across multiple business units or functions.

• Demonstrating CVS Health Heart at Work Behaviors and developing innovative programs designed to increase colleague engagement and organizational success; Partnering with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, etc.) to create and execute engagement and labor relations strategies for the organization.

• Teaming with business leaders to organize their optimal structure and human capital requirements; Evaluating and adjusting human capital based on business needs in partnership Business Leaders

• Championing a change capable organization that helps colleagues to thrive in a constantly changing environment; Orchestrating the pace and process of change (i.e. new rollouts, programs, tools, etc.) to ensure delivery of outcomes by helping leaders to clearly articulate critical few behaviors to inspire colleagues and build openness; Assessing commitment and sustainability of change(s) using a variety of methods to gather colleague perspective

Driving awareness and demonstrating behaviors that create a high-performing team culture of wellness and safety for allRequired Qualifications

• 15+ years of strategic Human Resources experience in in the Health Care or Insurance, Retail, Operations or Supply Chain industry

• 8+ years Human Resources leadership experience in managing teams

• Large-scale, multi-unit complex organizations; supporting executive-level leaders (VP+)

• Comprehensive HR functional experience, with deep capabilities in organizational design, talent management, workplace culture and values, colleague experience and labor relations and compliance

• Experience identifying business opportunities and creating and implementing people strategies to address needs.

• Ability to quickly build strong relationships with multiple partners and to coach and develop colleagues at all levels.

• Proven communication and collaboration skills with business leadership and with members of the HR centers of excellence.

• Critical thinking skills with ability to develop, document and communicate strategies, workforce plans, and continuously improve HR best/next practices

• Experience with talent trends & benchmarks, gathering data, analyzing issues, identifying core causes and addressing opportunities related to a diverse and dynamic slate of business challenges

• Project and change management skills to respond to short- and long-term business priorities

• Designs a compelling vision with dynamic, growth mindset. Impact, influence, and drive action and accountability in others via leadership presence

• Travel up to 50%Preferred Qualifications

B achelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field (required)

Advanced Degree (preferred)The typical base pay range for this role is:

$220,000.00 - $300,000.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
