Backend Mail Trainers are responsible for leading and coaching new colleagues through the onboarding experience and providing ongoing education and upskilling for existing employees. - Develop and maintain detailed training plans, including topics, schedules, and required materials based on Adult Learning theory and tactics.
- Tailor training to meet the specific needs of new hires and existing colleagues.
- Be knowledgeable about and apply effective training tactics and principles.
- Continuously learn about new training methods to enhance the training experience.
- Lead engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and virtually via Teams.
- Explain new information, demonstrate procedures, and answer trainee questions.
- Design and compile training materials such as handouts, presentations, and videos.
- Ensure materials are clear, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Evaluate trainee and mentors progress through knowledge checks, skill assessments, and feedback sessions.
- Provide constructive feedback to help trainees improve and succeed.
- Stay up to date with Work Instructions and processes in the Mail pharmacy.
- Provide feedback to the Work Instruction committee to ensure up to date information and processes are available during training.
- Offer ongoing support and guidance to trainees, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Be available to assist trainees even after the initial training period.
- Gather feedback from trainees to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Make improvements to training methods and materials based on feedback and performance outcomes.
- Use the training data dashboard to make informed training, mitigation, and scheduling decisions.
- Work with site supervisors and WMG to ensure the right training is conducted at the right time to support the pharmacy's needs.
- 1 + years of training or facilitation experience.
- 1+ year of experience and proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Office, and QuickBase
- Certified Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience in a Backend Mail or training delivery
- Ability to work flexible schedule as needed
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
- Bilingual in Spanish or Hindi
- High School Diploma or GED required

The typical pay range for this role is:$18.50 - $38.82This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
