Position Summary As a Senior Active Directory Azure System Administrator on our team, you will work in a large enterprise, multi domain Active directory environment. You will need to have an expert knowledge and highly proficient skills in administrations of Active Directory, Azure, and Azure AD environments. You will also collaborate with other IT support teams and project teams. We are looking for a colleague with expert knowledge of Windows operating systems along with experience using monitoring tools like Splunk and Microsoft Operations Center for operational support. - Manage and support multi-domain Active Directory environments in a hybrid configuration to Azure Cloud, involving Identity Integration through Azure AD Connect.
- Implement, manage, and maintain Active Directory security best practices, such as role-based access control (RBAC), privilege elevation, and least-privilege principles.
- Administer and support Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for cloud-based identity and access management.
- Manage Azure AD users, groups, and devices, and configure conditional access policies.
- Monitor and review AD and Azure AD logs and alerts to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve authentication and authorization problems across both AD and Azure environments.
- Provide guidance and solutions for resolving system outages and service disruptions.
- Implement security controls to protect Active Directory and Azure AD environments, ensuring they comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in audits and security assessments, addressing vulnerabilities and maintaining secure configurations.
- Work closely with other IT teams to implement and integrate AD and Azure services with various enterprise applications.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations for both Active Directory and Azure AD systems.
- Use PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate routine AD and Azure tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- 8+ years of experience supporting a multi-forest Active Directory domain environment.
- 8+ years of experience administering Active Directory.
- 8+ years of experience administering Azure and Azure AD.
- 8+ years of experience with Windows operating systems.
- 8+ years of experience with PowerShell.
- 8+ years of vulnerability management and system patching.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory security including best practices, permissions, delegated access, GPO, and troubleshooting
- Strong experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
- Strong experience in remediation for SOX/PCI/HIPAA compliance auditing.
- Strong analytical thinking for problem solving.

The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $284,280.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
