The Staff Data Engineer, Front Store Engineering you will be responsible for designing a comprehensive solutions that meets the business requirements and incrementally move the engineering solutions to the future state. The position requires developing the strategy and roadmap to drive transparency and alignment of the data & ML products design, development and release with the broader Super App initiative.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and engineering agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions in the big data technologies and on the cloud platforms.
- 8+ years of experience utilizing programming languages like SQL, Java, Python and Open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases and cloud-based data warehousing services such as Teradata, Big Query and Snowflake.
- Build and maintain data workflows, data ingestions and data transformation processes across multiple domains, powering ongoing datasets for driving reporting and ML use cases.
- 5+ years optimizing solutions using database native functionalities, design methodologies, distributed computing, advanced ETL patterns and compute resource optimization & tuning techniques.
- 5+ years of experience in proactively identifying data quality issues and collaborations with other subject matter experts to identify solutions & root cause analysis.
- Work closely with business partners in gathering detailed business requirements, establishing business definitions, and translating business requirements to technical solutions
- Design and develop APIs for data access and integration, ensuring efficient and secure data transfer across platforms.
- Experience in developing GenAI enabled pipelines including data processing, feature & model development and production deployment with agility and scale.
- Collaboration with a centralized team of data scientist/engineers and cross functional partners to conceptualize and deploy data science solutions for business problems using NLP, GenAI, AI solutions and to design and execute A/B tests to quantify the value of the solutions.
bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics or related field or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
