As a Manager, Quality Engineering at CVS Health in our Caremark PSS business unit, you will be testing various applications under Adjudication Group. The applications you will test as a QA Engineer will include Benefits, Clinical and myPBM applications. The QA Engineer is essential to ensuring that testing projects in this area are properly executed and documented.

As part of our Adjudication Group, your role as a Manager, Quality Engineering is vital to ensuring that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we are able to provide to our customers.

Responsibilities of the QA Engineer will include:
-Participate in the full Information Technology project lifecycle with particular emphasis on Quality Assurance activities in the proper implementation of the Information Technology projects.
-Responsible for supporting the development of comprehensive test strategies, plans, reports and environments for manual or automated testing for multiple IT projects in a release cycle.

-Developing and implementing efficiency initiatives using modern tools and techniques

-Responsible for understanding the complex software architecture, software design documents, software quality assurance complexity and provide quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risks assessment and mitigation.
-Responsible for the execution of test cases and the validation of results, meet deadlines and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test execution.
-In-depth knowledge of Rally and other test management tools.
-Responsible for managing defects found during testing by tracking in Rally and facilitating Defect Review Meetings.
-Provide Quality Assurance solutions that meet the business objectives and ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and with a high degree of quality.
-Generate test reports that clearly communicate Tests results, concerns and project status with an emphasis on project risk, including defect rates to the higher management.
-Development experience in Automation using Cypress, Selenium & UFT
-Knowledge and hands on experience in VBScript, JAVA, SQL etc.
-Experience in Continuous Integration environments ideally using Jenkins.
-Develop modular, reusable and maintainable automated tests to be integrated into existing automation framework.

-Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones such as cloud and AI

-Act as a Mentor and Train junior members in Automation & Functional TestingRequired Qualifications

5+ Years relevant QA tools, processes and technology including the following:
5+ Years of Automation development experience in Cypress & Selenium
3+ Years Test Management tools Experience.
3+ year of experience leading multiple projects.

2+ years' experience in IT QA leadership or Management level role.Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare industry experience with PBM background
Experience using complex SQL queries preferred.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment while being highly self-motivated and self-directed.

Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business language.
Experience in Implementing Several efficiency initiatives and Process optimization

The typical pay range for this role is:$92,700.00 - $185,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
