The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cisco network configurations and a passion for network automation. This individual will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining automated solutions for network configurations, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks. The Sr. Network Automation Engineer will also be responsible for developing strategies and best practices around network automation, scripting configuration code changes to ensure our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and adaptable to evolving business needs.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage Cisco networks, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Develop, maintain, and improve scripts and tools to automate network configuration and management tasks.

• Lead the strategy development for network automation initiatives, aligning with business goals and technology trends.

• Collaborate with Distinguished network Engineers, Network Engineers, and operations teams to define automation requirements and implement solutions.

• Serve as a L3 escalation Engineer to assist in Troubleshoot complex network issues.

• Assist in the development of automated remediation strategies.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools for enhancing network automation capabilities.

• Ensure all network automation activities are compliant with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in network automation.

• Stay up to date on the latest trends in network automation and cloud network integration.Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in configuring and managing Cisco network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).

. 7+ year of experience with scripting skills with Python, Ansible, or other relevant languages and tools for automating network tasks.

• Proven ability to develop, deploy, and manage network automation solutions in large-scale environments.

• Solid understanding of networking protocols such as, BGP, MPLS, EIGRP, and SDWAN.

• 7+ years of experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Cisco DNA Center, SolarWinds, NetBrain, etc.).

• 3+ year of experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives around network automation to drive operational efficiencies.

• 7+ years of experience with problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or DevNet Expert.

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.

• Familiarity with containerization and virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker, VMware, etc.).

. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $284,280.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
