Position Summary

The Sr Manager, Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness Annual Strategic Planner is responsible for supporting and effectively implementing the P&CW Marketing Strategy (specifically, strategic initiatives/ priorities vs. base) ensuring we deliver on our business goals. In this role, the candidate will support the initiative and planning process developing a deep understanding of the annual Marketing Plan with accompanying financials. They are also responsible for the facilitation of communications between departments, teams, and stakeholders ensuring seamless coordination, ongoing alignment, and tracking to the annualized plan.

This position offers broad exposure to many aspects across the Enterprise, as well as significant interaction with senior business leaders. Reporting directly to the PCW Chief of Staff with a direct line to the PCW CMO and their marketing leadership team of VPs.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Leadership to develop and execute both long- and short-term strategic initiative plans across retail marketing
  • Coordinate and drive the planning, execution and implementation of the annual planning cycle
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements throughout the annual planning processes
  • Implementation and management of Quarterly Business Reviews tracking outcomes, priorities and operational efficiencies
  • Ownership and management of the quarterly PCW scorecard
  • Operationalizing and facilitating brainstorms, workshops carving out time and space to ideation on business driving ideas / outcomes
  • Integrate relevant data and information and apply the findings to positively impact our business & function along with share key insights and actions based on data and metrics
  • Ad Hoc Executive Leadership reporting and deck building (including outcomes, marketing activity and industry trends)
  • Facilitation of effective communications within marketing and externally with business partners ensuring seamless coordination and alignment - defining how we "market the marketing" and owning/driving the output
  • Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the organization and cross-functional team
  • Independently or in partnership with external agency support, defining narrative and comms strategy for key conferences and presentations given by the PCW CMO
  • Partnering with budget owners and analytics to report out on business impact and optimization
  • Management of comms and execution of executives social platforms

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of marketing experience with a strong foundation in business.
  • 5+ years of consulting experience.
  • 2+ years of brand campaign management and/or brand strategy experience.
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience including examples of testing and validating emerging opportunities.
  • 2+ years of marketing analytics sufficient to project program results and track/interpret them.
  • 2+ years of agile marketing experience with an understanding of testing methodologies.
  • 1+ years partnering with outside agencies, holding them accountable, while being a strong partner.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
