Our solutions deliver a highly engaging digital and telephonic experience to both patients and care team members to drive improvement in patient health outcomes.We are seeking a visionary and strategic Senior Manager, Digital Strategy & Design to join our Product team to lead and shape the future of our cross-portfolio digital health experiences in diabetes, obesity, nutrition, and more. This role will focus on designing and delivering intuitive, innovative, and patient-centric digital solutions. As a senior leader, you will manage a team of at least 3 product managers, collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, and ensure our products meet the needs of patients, providers, and the healthcare ecosystem. You will lead a digital development organization of over 50 matrix partners. Your work will improve the health outcomes of hundreds of thousands of patients.

This role is ideal for an experienced product leader passionate about improving healthcare accessibility and health outcomes through the design, delivery, and operations of a cutting-edge digital experience across a broader product portfolio.This position is fully remote but may require travel to offsite meetings at least quarterly. Alternatively, this position can be located in any of our office locations in Wellesley, MA; Woonsocket, RI; Hartford, CT; Scottsdale, AZ or Buffalo Grove, IL.

Key Responsibilities:1. Product Strategy and Vision
  • Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for our mobile and web digital experiences to deliver a best-in-class product experience.
  • Identify emerging trends in the digital health technology landscape and translate them into prioritized design initiatives to drive increased engagement and health outcomes in chronic condition care.
2. Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and oversee team performance.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with engineering, marketing, data science, clinical, and regulatory teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership and the product team, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
4. Product Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and design to launch and optimization.
    • Define business requirements and convey business objectives to technical teams.
    • Validate user stories with business stakeholders and establish acceptance criteria for testing.
  • Ensure all digital solutions comply with healthcare and enterprise regulations and meet high usability standards.
5. Customer Focus
  • Advocate for patients, providers, and healthcare partners by deeply understanding their needs and pain points.
  • Leverage user research, feedback, and data analytics to drive product decisions and improvements.
  • Manage the execution of the digital experience, identifying potential improvements to the user experience.
6. Metrics and Performance
  • Establish a robust measurement plan for digital engagement and uptake, feature usage, and health outcomes improvement for users to inform the strategic roadmap.
  • Continuously analyze performance metrics to iterate and improve digital solutions.

  • 4+ years of experience in digital health design and product management, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity (managing direct reports).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven success in leading digital health product design (preferably mobile digital experiences) and engineering initiatives
  • Experience in a fast-paced digital health startup; experience with mobile and web digital products.
  • Experience with chronic condition digital experiences (diabetes, obesity, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of design thinking, UX principles, and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working with EHR/EMR systems, telehealth, or patient engagement platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data analytics in the healthcare domain.
  • Certification in product management or UX design.
  • Experience managing teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for improving healthcare accessibility and outcomes.
Education
  • Required: bachelor's degree in business, digital design, digital engineering, computer science, or a related field or equivalent practical experience. May consider comparable work experience
  • Preferred: master's degree in above fields or MBA
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.40

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
