Provides coaching and mentoring to the team and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and effective communication across teams, and supporting the Product Owner in product backlog management and prioritization. Develops strategy to monitor and measure the team's progress through established metrics, promoting self-organization and autonomy among team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and productivity.The Aetna Enterprise Delivery team is looking for an innovative, high-energy leader with strong analytic, Agile, and program management skills to drive delivery on critical initiatives in the Medicare Segment. This role will require an out-of-the-box problem solver who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated track record for executing in a high-demand, results-driven environment.This position will be responsible for driving execution of complex technology initiatives in partnership with Technology, Business and Operations teams. The position will direct activities of the team including overseeing Scrum events and ensuring that any obstacles or impediments that hinder the team's progress are identified and addressed. Provides coaching and mentoring to the team and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and effective communication across teams, and supporting the product roadmap through backlog management and prioritization. Develops strategy to monitor and measure the team's progress through established metrics, promoting self-organization and autonomy among team members, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and productivity.   • Run Programs with budgets of $8M+ consisting of one or more large projects.
  • Manage Agile practice resources and contractors as well as matrixed members of a project team.
  • Drive planning activities, including convening meetings, developing agendas and material, and developing reports or support specific teams with tracking and monitoring initiatives
  • Ensure appropriate project deliverables are created, utilized by leaders and are updated over time as each project grows.
  • Responsible for interfacing and communicating directly with Senior leaders from all different areas of the company.
  • Oversee the development and tracking of timelines and milestone with key internal and external partners to address project objectives
  • Monitor multiple, concurrent project lifecycles by tracking project plans and deadlines for key deliverables, and identifying and raising issues requiring resolution
  • Manage projects using CVS agile methodology and/or other Project Management professional practices and standard tools.
  • Partner with other Project Leads and owners to coordinate day-to-day initiative progress, identify risks/barriers and work with project leaders to address challenges
  • Where necessary interface with other projects to modify plans when necessary to ensure cross-functional dependencies and inter-dependent projects stay coordinated.
  • Work with all stakeholders to define and acquire all necessary resources and to ensure their continual support for project goals.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and communicate status of projects in both formal and informal settings.
  • Forecast Resources and participate in quarterly revised forecast activities while maintaining project budgets.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Agile and/or Project Management working with cross-functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience in leading program delivery efforts within a large organization.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing a team of PMs/SMs
  • Understanding of software development methodologies
  • Experience with budget forecasting
  • Proficient in Microsoft, work management, and budget management tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing Medicare technology initiatives
  • Experience in a regulatory environment
  • Scrum and RTE certification desired
Education

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experiencePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$106,605.00 - $284,280.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
