You'll be involved in all phases of software engineering, from requirements analysis to deployment, while adhering to agile software development methodologies. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.What you will do:
  • Innovate and Create: Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications which can orchestrate and integrate seamlessly with AI and ML Systems/Data.
  • API Wizardry: Build and deploy RESTful APIs using FastAPI to serve ML models and facilitate smooth data interactions, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, driving technical excellence, establishing web best practices, and ensuring the use of industry-standard methodologies and technologies.
  • Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the digital health space. Provide recommendations on technology selection and integration, considering factors such as performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Quality Advocate: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices that elevate our standards.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping them enhance their technical skills and grow professionally through knowledge-sharing activities, technical training, and fostering a culture of learning within the team
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, AI/ML/ Data Engineers, and software developers, to define technical requirements and create robust and scalable architectures that meet business objective
As leaders in healthcare, our analytics and engineering teams deliver innovative solutions to business problems by collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and agile environment. You will be part of a team that values collaboration and encourages innovative thinking at all levels. You will be intellectually challenged to solve problems associated with large scale complex, structured and unstructured data, that will allow you to grow your technical skills and engineering expertise.Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience in front-end interfaces, back-end processing, and APIs in multi-cloud environments.
  • 3+ years of solid experience in two or more server-side languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience in developing APIs and web application frameworks using technologies like React, Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST API, WebSockets, or GraphQL APIs, messaging and other tech stacks (open-source and proprietary)
  • 3+ years of development expertise working with unstructured and semi-structured data structures and algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in AI/ML/LLM is a huge plus.
  • Exposure to JSON/XML/YAML
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipeline, and other DevOps principles/best practices
  • Working Experience in Agile Development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of security best practices for web development (e.g., OAuth, SSL, data encryption).
  • Proficient in microservices, and modern software patterns.
  • Previous healthcare experience and domain knowledge
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills within and across teams
Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$92,700.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
