The Senior QA Manager is responsible for leading the quality assurance department of 6+ FTE and ensuring that software products meet high-quality standards before reaching users. The team develops client facing apps in the myPBM space.This role involves defining quality metrics, setting quality standards, and implementing efficient processes to achieve exceptional results.   • Lead and mentor those contributing to our QA efforts, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and ensure a high level of performance.
  • Develop and implement test strategies and test plans based on project requirements, business needs, and system specifications.
  • Oversee and execute various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, etc.) to ensure system stability and reliability.
  • Lead and execute initiatives for automation testing by identifying suitable tools and scripting automated tests to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Identify, track, and report defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Provide clear, concise defect reports and recommendations.
  • Work closely with business owners, developers, business analysts, and project managers to define testing requirements and scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives and expectations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all test cases, test results, and issues.
  • Evaluate potential risks in the testing process and work proactively to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • With a Quality Engineering focus, follow and identify new age automation techniques to design and update existing test automation frameworks, as well as design and help build new test automation capabilities
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to management, outlining the quality metrics, test progress, and any potential risks or issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience working within Quality Assurance domain with a proven track record.
  • 7+ years of experience with software testing techniques & technologies including Smoke/unit/regression, Integration Testing, Test Driven Development (TDD), Automated testing.
  • 5+ years of experience managing QA resources, must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment may be offshore.
  • 2+ years of experience working on Identity and Access Management technologies such as Active Directory.
  • 2+ years of experience with Selenium or another automated test suite is preferred.
  • 5+ years of working experience in the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
  • 3+ years of strong experience managing resource needs, and capable of identifying, and communicating resource/administrative gaps.
  • 5+ years of experience enforcing process improvements, tracking deliverables, and results for each engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with testing AI models, including data validation, model performance evaluation
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Start-up mentality and desire to innovate at a fast pace.
Education

Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 11 years relevant experiencePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $236,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
