Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as a Senior Product Manager for the SRE, Observability & Monitoring platform to lead our organization's efforts to develop and drive the strategic vision in establishing the SRE & Observability function for Aetna Technology division. As the Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of SRE practices within the company, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive transformative outcomes, best practices and building a center of excellence.As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in defining the product strategy, gathering requirements, and driving the successful delivery of our SRE and Observability solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to ensure the products meet customer needs and drive business growth. You will also be responsible for engaging with various software vendors that support a series of applications that are critical to the overall delivery of Observability platform.In this position you will:

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our SRE and Observability products, aligning them with business goals and customer needs
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and pain points
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications
  • Drive the agile development process, working closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and adoption of the SRE and Observability products
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience and drive product enhancements
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to internal teams and customers on SRE and Observability best practices
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and mentorship within the SRE team
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in SRE and Observability, bringing innovative ideas to the product roadmap
  • Ensure that SRE practices adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner, preferably in the SRE, Observability, or DevOps space and well versed in SRE principles, SRE Metrics, Observability, Monitoring and Automation
  • 5+ years of experience with OpenTelemetry (OTEL) standards
  • 3+ years of experience with at least one of the Observability & Monitoring LGTM platforms such as Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Managed Prometheus or Mimir
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements
  • Experience creating product roadmaps, use cases, product workflows and writing detailed product stories using Rally or Jira and evangelizing with the stakeholders
  • Experience working in an agile development environment, driving the product development process from ideation to delivery
  • Experience working with onshore/offshore teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in implementing and improving SRE metrics in complex and distributed environments
  • Experience with Anomaly detection in Observability Engineering leveraging AIOps & Machine Learning technologies
  • Experience with APM and Logging tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic & Splunk
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
