We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team that will design, code testing related activities of software development and testing for Medicare and IFP systems, strong technical and functional skills are key to perform this role successfully. Strong leadership skills are essential, must have prior experiencing working with Government programs, related to the user experience and key business configurations.

Responsibilities /Duties:
  • Skilled in identifying and diagnosing system issues, providing valuable input to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Proficient in utilizing industry-standard tools and methodologies to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Proficient communicator with the ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with corporate officials at all levels, colleagues, and clients. Skilled in both verbal and written communication, ensuring clear and effective information exchange in a corporate environment. Prioritize, delegate, and supervise all engineers' activities and deliverables.
  • Manage, support, and evaluate engineers' performance.
  • Hire new talent for the team and offer coaching and development opportunities.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of proven experience in product engineering leadership roles
  • 5+ years successfully working in IT projects in an Agile development methodology.
  • 3+ years' experience working on multiple IT projects on varying technology stacks especially, Experience with TDD and writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • 3+ years' experience in modern programming languages and cloud-based technologies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Works with a sense of urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues to deliver a quality project on time and within budget.
  • A passion for innovation, with a customer-centric mindset focused on delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Detail-oriented for understanding complex systems and the ability to pay attention to details, as a minor error can result in major problems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and influencing technical and strategic decision-making.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
