- Lead multiple development teams consisting of Senior and Associate level developers primarily focused on .net and java technologies
- Hire future talent, provide coaching to existing talent, performance reviews, and salary planning for their team
- Perform contract negotiation for contracted resources as well as onboarding and offboarding functions
- Provide a digital-first perspective to help realize the business goals
- Manage large projects and collaborate with multiple partners, including the different departments across CVS Health
- Have executive presence, presentation delivery skills, and the ability to connect with diverse teams and levels of senior leaders
- Guide the integration and validation of complex technology solutions including reviewing architecture and creating roadmaps
- Define and refine delivery processes, disaster recovery plans, and release plans
- Oversee day to day operations of a business unit to ensure processes complete successfully and applications remain healthy
- Communicate to business leaders of any abnormalities
- Lead coordination efforts for any system down situations
- Provide oversight of scheduled releases to ensure stability and accuracy
- Perform capacity planning for multiple teams as well as high level project estimates
- 7+ years of experience in application development
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing applications that include batch, webservices, and websites
- Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and tools
- Experience designing and developing solutions using C#.net and SQL Server
- Experience in the insurance industry, specifically concerning providers, billing, claims, brokers, and commissions
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience with cloud-based application development or certifications
- Experience with SAFE development methodologies
- Experience interacting with the Inspro platform
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or software development are desirable
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
