CVS Health aims to transform health and wellness via products that enable consumer engagement and a best-in-class experience. CVS Health is currently taking on a major initiative to redesign and rebuild many of its Retail Front Store Assets. This effort will include a completely new approach to developing software within CVS Health, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes.We are searching for a Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering who will be responsible for leading and driving critical initiatives in our Retail Front Store portfolio at CVS Health. This hands-on technology leader will be an Agile evangelist with a proven track record in delivering on technology initiatives in a fast-paced organization and building trusted relationships with peer groups and business partners. As one of our Senior Managers, you will be part of a dynamic team of architects and developers working in an Agile, accelerated development environment. We are looking for a leader who achieves organization goals by being deliberate and resourceful in leading people. Additionally this leader will have proven experience in balancing priorities, risks and expenses to successfully manage, build, and operationalize on a portfolio of products and capabilities. This Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering will deliver high quality software to enhance customer experiences and is expected to drive vision, innovation and strategic plans that help advance CVS Health's enterprise solutions across our Retail Front Store portfolios.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of functional leadership experience of demonstrated excellence in an information systems environment with at least 3+ years in direct management and supervision IT/Technical work groups to include budgeting, strategic planning, technical direction, and staff coaching/mentoring
- 7+ years of relevant and current experience including APIs, Micro services, customization, integration, UI development and analytics
- 5+ years of experience with agile development
- 5+ years of experience with a proven track record of leadership with experience managing large or multiple teams comprising of FTEs and contractors
- 3+ years managing teams responsible for deploying cloud applications (GCP Preferred)
- Experience with optimization skills to improve performance, scalability, and usability of applications
- Strong application development background as developer, architect, or manager
- Experience and success in leading agile teams (small, medium, and large initiatives) effectively, consistently delivering highest quality software to enhance/impact customer experience
- Working experience of CI/CD pipeline
- Coaches and mentors staff and works with staff on their development and training plans
- Working understanding of enterprise security
- Experience in a large online retailer application development organization
- Retail Front Store experience

The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $284,280.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
