This role will focus primarily on translating identified opportunities to improve customer service, colleague engagement, and efficiency into new programs, tools and processes that can be integrated into, or expand upon, the retail pharmacy operating model.
The day-to-day experience of the role will vary - aligning key stakeholders and team leadership, conducting root cause analyses, developing hypotheses, and executing analyses on complex issues related to retail pharmacy .
This position requires strong collaboration skills as it is necessary to work cross functionally and influence our store teams, field leadership and internal business partners. This position will routinely interact with many of the following groups: Product Development, Pharmacy Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Quality & Safety, and Field Leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and ability to impact and influence. In addition, the individual must be able to independently interact with and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders and demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering results.
Primary responsibilities
- Developing a deep understanding of business and applying knowledge to identify opportunities to address potential business challenges.
- Independently designing and executing implementation programs
Supporting retail field leadership and store teams to successfully convert to new processes and workflows. - Presenting and articulating conclusions and recommendations to the leadership team
Engaging cross-functionally across the organization to drive results and resolve issues encountered by the team, including the ability to assess and course-correct as necessary
Preparing materials and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise.
- 7+ years' experience in an Operations, Process Improvement, Pharmacy/Healthcare, and/or Consulting
- 5+ years of demonstrated increasing responsibility roles in corporate or retail operational/field environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Possesses both analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; able to identify solution types that are both evolutionary and highly disruptive.
- Ability to develop high performing teams, key talent, and manage staff.
- Ability to drive efficient and effective planning processes by implementing and upholding a strong project management discipline across boundaries.
- Ability to influence at all levels - up to and including Executive Vice Presidents.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills and strong presentation skills are required.
- Travel up to 10%
- 3+ years' experience designing and executing large scale change management strategies.
The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $199,144.80
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
