Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Consumer Insights to join our Medicare Member Experience team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, stories, and strategic recommendations. This individual will play a key role in driving a culture of data-driven, member-centric decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Insight Generation:
  • Analyze data from CAHPS, member complaints (CTMs and Grievances), relational NPS, and other survey and call center-based feedback to generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and communicate recommendations based on data analysis to inform strategic business decisions.
2. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Present findings and insights to senior executives and other stakeholders.
  • Create compelling presentations and reports that effectively communicate data-driven stories.
3. Strategic Influence:
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the business, influencing decision-making through data insights.
  • Drive a culture of member-centric, data-driven decision-making within the organization.
4. Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, informatics analysts, and application developers to ensure cohesive and comprehensive analysis.
  • Mentor and guide team members to develop their analytical and communication skills.
5. Project Management:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven initiatives.
6. Benchmarking:
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to compare performance metrics with industry standard and best practices.
  • Use benchmarking data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in consumer insights, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector, specifically with Medicare, is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of translating data into strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating presentations and reports, particularly in PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a consulting role or working in a consultative capacity within an organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
  • Understanding of Medicare and the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with CAHPS, NPS, member complaints (CTMs and Grievances), and other survey-based feedback mechanisms.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Data Science, etc.) preferred.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
