Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Marketing and Sales partners to inform Aetna's Medicare member growth strategy through analytics - e.g., customer segmentation, test design, forecasting, what-if scenarios, and more
  • Develop compelling data stories using the latest visualization tools to deliver insights
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from internal and external sources to generate insights that drive business performance
  • Create actionable reports and dashboards highlighting key performance indicators, areas for improvement, and root cause analyses
  • Build and automate data pipelines to train and score machine learning models, build analytics data lakes, and power automated data visualization tools
Location: Must be available to work a hybrid schedule in the New York City (preferred), Boston, or Hartford office.Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, machine learning, BI, data engineering, or applied data science
  • 3+ years of experience using with SQL and Python/R for data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience using statistical techniques on complex data to solve business problems
  • Proven track record of leveraging data to influence cross-functional stakeholders, partners, and leadership to drive decisions
  • Ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, R Shiny, or Power BI
  • 1+ years of demonstrated ability to manage relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, machine learning, BI, data engineering, or applied data science
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics or management consulting
  • 5+ years of experience using with SQL and Python/R for data analysis
  • 3+ years of experience using statistical techniques on complex data to solve business problems
  • Proven track record of leveraging data to influence cross-functional stakeholders, partners, and leadership to drive decisions

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative field, or equivalent formal education and experience
  • Master's degree in a business or quantitative field preferred

The typical pay range for this role is:$111,240.00 - $222,480.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
