The Retail Pharmacy Analytics team maintains industry-leading analytical solutions to enable a roadmap that drives the technology development & innovation, while delivering high-quality and high-value solutions. This position will be reporting to the Principle Data Scientist - Patient Safety and Pharmacy Operations Analytics.

The Sr. Data Scientist will be part of analytical solutions in pharmacy professional practices and support our communities in prevention of drug misuse across a fleet of 9700+ pharmacy locations. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of AI/ML and collaborative mindset to inspire the team, align cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver efficient results. Responsibilities include
  • Participate in initiatives to improve patient safety and mitigate risk of potential fraud and forgery leveraging AI/ ML techniques
  • Leverage technology to engage with stakeholders across the enterprise to work on new applications of artificial intelligence in fraud and forgery detection
  • Conduct or coordinate appropriate testing of analytic solutions including, machine learning and artificial intelligence, to ensure results are consistent with business requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working in analytics with a track record of delivering insights and business impact
  • 3+ years of experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as predictive modeling and multivariate regression analysis
  • 3+ years of expertise using data analysis, programming, and visualization tools such as Python, R, cloud-based ML Ops tech stack, SQL, and Tableau
  • Highly motivated individual to work in an extremely fast paced environment both individually and with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytics and data skills including solid training in statistics and data analysis, understanding of data management and visualization, ability to interpret outcomes of machine learning models
  • Prior experience using and managing projects leveraging Cloud (Azure, GCP, ...) technologies
  • Prior experience implementing supervised and unsupervised approaches to address rare and anomalous events like fraud and forgery
  • Prior experience utilizing graph data structures and related AI/ML approaches like GNN, GCN, GAT to create supervised and unsupervised graph representations of complex systems
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Advanced degree majoring in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field a plus
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$111,240.00 - $222,480.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
