The Senior Coordinator within the occupancy expense department will be responsible for ensuring that rent is paid timely and accurately for leases within the corporation, as well as ensuring that sales are reported accurately to landlords, and that percentage of sales are calculated accurately.In this role as Senior Coordinator - Internal Reporting, you will:- Process monthly batch rents, wires and ACH payments, including batch rent analysis, recording deferred monthly rent journal entries and manual rent payments.

- Work in unison with other analysts to prepare and audit percentage rent statements up to and including generating payments for percentage rent stores.

- Review and analyze monthly transactions, maintain amortization schedules and ensure general ledger is updated to reflect monthly activity.

- Reconcile multiple balance sheet accounts.

- Work with internal contacts such as Lease Administration and Legal to ensure that rents are paid on time and accurately.

- Handle landlord calls and emails in a timely and professional manner as they pertain to rent, percentage rent, sales statement inquiries and default letters.

- Respond to Defaults in a timely manner.

- Provide training and guidance to other department members and assist management in resolving issues that may arise.

- Assist with Budgeting/Forecasting and other special projects as assigned.

-Assist management with ASC842 (Lease Accounting).

- Review leases and prepare audit packages.Required Qualifications:

1+ year of experience working within an accounting or finance environment.Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with ERP General Ledger software such as SAP or PeopleSoft.
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with journal entries
  • Experience in a Corporate environment
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$18.50 - $38.82This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
