The Sales Associate (New York/New Jersey) serves as a specialist in the planning and execution of sales operations. Joining forces with internal partners will allow you to support the growth of Aetna membership by leading the development of customer-focused and strategically oriented proposals that focus on financial positioning, product offerings, and the Aetna value story. The Sales Associate will be responsible for supporting and developing new business opportunities to ensure profitable customers and help grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution, and superior service.Fundamental Components:

- Qualify requests, collect, and review specs, engage with partners to gather all relevant details, and review matching for strategic capabilities leveraging knowledge of products and networks.
- Develop plan for quote and proposal delivery. Assist in development of proposal and coordinate resources needed.
- Assist, coordinate and prepare collection of responses for RFP ( request for proposal ), data collection, scrubbing data, pricing for all products, work in Salesforce/CPQ ( Configure, Price, Quote ), and data entry to move the RFP through to completion as needed.
- Support and participate in enrollment processes and manage case through first 30 days, including health fairs, open enrollments, network, coverage, and setup needs. Some support activities could require attainment of state licensure to sell Insurance products.
- Participate as Salesforce SME ( subject matter expert ) and system/process SME, providing input to corporate teams on proposed changes and enhancements and their impact in the field.
- Detail oriented: ability to identify and locate key pieces of information in documentation provided by the Sales team.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Proficiency with desktop software applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Salesforce.
- Must reside in New York or New Jersey.
- Ability to travel 5% of time within New York or New Jersey.
- Active Resident Life and Health Insurance License, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Technologically-savvy: quickly learn tools within Salesforce and proper procedures in submitting various data requests.
- Clear communication: thoroughly understands incoming requests and can effectively and immediately communicate any factors that may impact timely completion of delegated requests.
- Time management: timely execution of tasks with the ability to execute requests based on priority.
- Collaborative: works well with team members and across departments.
- Multitask: can manage several requests at a given time ensuring clear documentation and execution along with pivoting at a moment's notice based on RFP need.

The typical pay range for this role is:$21.10 - $49.08This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
